Frank Manfredo's Obituary
of Bradenton, formerly of Calumet City, Illinois went to the Lord July 25, 2013. He moved to Bradenton in 1989 after he retired from CSX Railroad after 40 years of service. He attended Ss. Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church and was a volunteer for many years at the Activity Center where he instructed senior citizens on the proper use of the exercise equipment. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. Past Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus Council 3806 in Calumet City Illinois, an active member of the Knights of Columbus 3358 Our Lady of Victory in Sarasota and served Faithful Scribe for the 4th degree Monsignor Elslander Assembly #0167. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus at Ss. Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church, and a member of the American Legion Post 24, a member of the Moose Lodge #2188. Survivors include Frances his beloved wife for over 60 years, daughter, Antoinette Boyle of Troy Vermont, son, Frank J. Manfredo, daughter in law, Mary Manfredo from Valparaiso, Indiana, sister-in-law, Phillis Manfredo of Mesa, Arizona, many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being made by Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel. Chapel Visitation will be at 6:00-8:00PM Sunday July 28, 2013. Funeral Mass will be at Ss. Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church on 9:30 AM Monday July 29, 2013 with Reverend Mark L. Heuberger officiating. Entombment will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto.
