Franklin Lee Chambers' Obituary
Franklin Lee Chambers, 75, passed away June 30, 2014. He was born October 23, 1938 in Bloomington, Illinois to the late Henry and Margaret (Baker) Chambers. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his brother, Don; and sisters, Mary and Joanne.
He came to Manatee County 4 years ago from Kentucky. He was formerly from Washington State. He had served our country in the US Navy and later volunteered for many veteran organizations. Frank enjoyed fellowshipping with his friends, entertaining, dancing, swimming, playing cards, missions work, church work and was dedicated to the Lord. He was passionate about his clown and puppet ministries to children. He put on many productions with the life size puppets.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Hope McDonald and Joy Chambers both of Lacey, Washington; sons, Henry Chambers of Tennessee and Frank Chambers, Jr. of Arizona; sisters, Sally Vires and her husband Bud of Vancouver, Washington and Patty Wagner and her husband Victor of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, Dick Chambers and his wife Lorretta of Lacey, Washington; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
