Gay J. Walters' Obituary
Gay J. Walters, 76, passed away September 20. 2014. He was born October 12, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late George and Pearl (Allore) Walters. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-daughter, Patti Lynn Cowlishaw and 5 siblings.
Gay moved to Palmetto, Florida in 2001 from Ogden, Utah. He lived a very spiritual life which he dedicated to helping a worldwide organization in service to others.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Patricia Gaye Walters; sons, Daniel Allen Walters and his wife Christy of Denver, Colorado and Michael Todd Walters and his wife Susan of Lake Wales, Florida; daughter, Gaye Lynn Plessure and her husband Raymond of the UP in Michigan; brothers, Lawrence Walters of Michigan; Frank Walters and his wife Bonnie of Michigan; and David Walters and his wife Lou of Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Leisure Lakes Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, 2900 8th Avenue West, Palmetto, Florida.
