Michael Berta
George was a mentor and educational colleague who served the students of the Portage Township Schools with his vision and expertise. With his leadership, the system flourished. Working with him for many years I experienced first hand his passion for making Portage a first rate educational experience for students and families. Personally, I am thankful to George for his guidance and lessons learned that served me throughout my career.
My condolences to George’s family. May his memory be eternal.
