Harry Michael Hudak's Obituary
Harry Michael Hudak, 94, passed away September 8th, 2014. He was born December 9th, 1919 in Manifold, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Marie (Schaub) Hudak. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Willard.
Harry retired from Hudak Auto Repair which he owned and ran for many years. He came to Manatee County in 1973 and was a protestant. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. Harry loved music and provided all the music from his custom collection of Big Band era songs for all the dances and functions at the Winterset Resort for the past 15 years. He was known as “Big Band Harry”. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 73 years, Martha who he met while bicycling; son, Kenneth Harry Hudak and his wife Michele of Beverly Hills, Florida; daughter, Janis Elaine Gibson and her husband Steve of Ellijay, Georgia; grandchildren, Scott, Michael, Bradley, Christopher, Stacey, Lauren, Eric, Gina and Tamara; great grandchildren, Alden, Laura, Kayla, Tanner, Skylar, Drew, Jackson, Nathan, Kayla and Joshua.
