Helen Adorno's Obituary
Helen Adorno, 63, entered into the gates of paradise on August 9, 2021 surrounded by her family. Helen was born on September 27, 1957 in Manhattan, NY. She was the daughter of Neri Soto and Juan Mejias.
Helen received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, she was honored to be Valedictorian and be on the Dean’s List. She was also a registered Chaplain with the United Pentecostal Church International. Helen was an active member in the community as well as Life Covenant Sanctuary Church in Bradenton under Pastor Dale Eason, and Hope Apostolic Church under Pastor Daniel Dagan in Port Charlotte, Fl.
In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by four brothers, Victor, Angel, George and David as well as three sisters, Vicky, Cindy, and Nancy. Helen was also survived by her children, Ivan Adorno and family, Luis Arroyo and family, Daniel Arroyo, Victoria Arroyo and family, as well as Annette Arroyo-Cruz and family.
Celebration of Life will be held at Life Covenant Sanctuary, Thursday, August 12th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Graveside Service will be held at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home Friday, August 13th at 10:00am.
