Henry Charles Fraind's Obituary
Henry Charles Fraind, 75, of Sun City Center, Florida, got a new body after a hard fight with cancer. Dr. Henry Charles Fraind was simply known as Henry. Henry was a champion of the underdog, always willing to extend a helping hand. Henry was born in Miami Florida to Max and Rose Fraind on August 16, 1943, he valued education and joined the military after high school. Henry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, once he left the military he served his home town as an educator for many years. Henry was the Deputy School District Superintendent for Miami Dade County for about 5 years. Henry made friends wherever he went and had a great sense of humor even through all the ups and downs of life. Henry will fondly be remembered for making friends and family laugh, competing to be the favorite son-in-law, carefree attitude, and for always extending a helping hand.
Left to cherish Henry’s memory are his wife of 39 years who will remember him with love in her heart, Diane Fraind, three surviving brothers, extended family, and the family he made through friends.
Private graveside service will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota FL.
