Ira Larry Snook's Obituary
Ira Larry Snook, age 91, passed away April 11, 2026, in Bradenton, Florida. He was born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania to Ira Dale and Mildred Bernyce Snook who preceded him in death. Ira was a great conversationalist and perpetually curious. He was a lifelong member of the IBEW and committed athlete including being a high school football star. After retiring to Florida in the late 1990’s, he continued his athletic pursuits becoming a professional shuffleboard player competing in tournaments across the state. Ira leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife of 48 years Roberta Ann Snook of Bradenton, FL; brother Jeffrey Snook (Lecta) of Burnham, PA; three sons Rick L. Snook (Monica) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ken A. Aumiller (Donna) of McClure, PA, and Keith A. Aumiller (Donna) of Erie, PA; two daughters Kathy Aumiller of Gulfport, FL and Kristal A. Ford (Paul) of Denver, NC; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 17, 2026, at Skyway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Palmetto, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Ira’s honor be made to:
