Jack G Huppert's Obituary
Jack G. Huppert, 87, died on June 19, 2021 in the comfort of his home. Jack was born on August 22, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois and was the son of Julius George and Genevieve May (Swan) Huppert.
Jack initially attended the University of Florida in 1952, but paused his education to enlist in the U.S. Navy, where he served for four years as a Petty Officer and Medic during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, Jack resumed and completed his education at the University of Florida.
In 1970, Jack married Andriana Ferreri , who meant the world to him, and together they lived happily and devoted to each other in the Sarasota-Bradenton area for over 45 years, until her death in 2016.
In addition to his distinguished military career, Jack worked as a Clerk Manager for the U.S. Post Service for 25 years until his retirement in 1989. His career also included part ownership in Huppert–Mack Spracrete Inc, as well as being a licensed insurance agent, a licensed real estate agent (was the oldest living agent in the state of Florida at the time of his death) and served as a Financial Director for the West Coast Postal Employee Credit Union.
Jack is survived by his nephews; Edward and Philip Ferreri, his niece, Rosemarie Aloy, and his many grandnieces and grandnephews, as well as his very close friends and colleagues.
A Service of Remembrance with burial was held on June 19, 2021 at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto, Florida. Those who would like to remember Jack in a special way can make a gift donation in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
