Jackson Leonard Cook's Obituary
Jackson Leonard Cook, 84, passed away February 22, 2015. He was born December 7, 1930 in Cash, Arkansas to the late Abb and Imel (Nicholson) Cook. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Darrel and sister Bonnie.
Jackson came to Manatee county 30 years ago from New Orleans, Louisiana. He loved to fish and read.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Anita Sharp (Jerry) of Roseville, Illinois; sons, Dalton Cook of Bradenton, Florida; and Danny Cook (Mark) of Michigan City, Indiana; sister, Carol Mendoza (Joe) of Dinuba, California; grandchildren, Jeremy, Paula, Dalton Jr., Jordan and Tracey; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Courtney, Abbey, Tyler and Michael; and great great- grandchildren, Ayden and Bryson.
There will be a graveside service Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11:00AM at Skyway Memorial Gardens. Contributions in his honor may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
