James Abercrombie's Obituary
James Richard Abercrombie Jr, aged 64, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the late afternoon hours of August 8th, 2019 in Bradenton FL. He was born February 21st, 1955 in Watervliet, Michigan to Clara and the late James Abercrombie. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers, August Abercrombie and Thomas Abercrombie.
James moved to Texas in the early 80’s from Florida and spent most of his time in Houston, TX. He recently moved back to Bradenton, FL to be closer to his mother. He had the opportunity to travel, see new places and meet new people through the Pokagon Indian Tribe, in which he was an active elder member. He will be remembered for his strong-willed nature, his smile and his ability to overcome life challenges.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Clara Abercrombie of Bradenton, FL; brother, Reginald F. Abercrombie and his wife Doreen of Tampa, Florida; daughters, Krista Gondek and her husband Michael of Goldsboro, North Carolina and Alicia Abercrombie Koehler and her husband Pete of Cypress, Texas; and son, James Wyatt Abercrombie of Houston, Texas. He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
