James E Armstrong's Obituary
James E. Armstrong II went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, June 13, 2013. Born in Gordonsville, VA, he served in the Army during WWII, moved to Bradenton in 1946, and was an air conditioning/heating contractor for 47 years. A member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, he is loved and respected for his humor and acts of kindness, a wonderful role model for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Betty, he leaves a daughter Sandi Beaman(Roger), grandson CWO3 Shannon Beaman, USMC(Wendy), 3 great granddaughters , grandson Ryan Beaman(Jormarie), two great grandsons, a son Robert J. Armstrong(Karen), grandson Robert B. Armstrong and granddaughter, Sarah Armstrong. Visitation: 6-8pm Wednesday with Funeral 1pm Thursday (both at Bradenton Funeral Home) Interment at Skyway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations for Bibles to The Gideons International.
