Jim worked for General Motors Corporation for 38 years as a journeyman in the tool and die division. He was employed at the Turbo-Hydramatic Transmision Plant in Ann Arbor. He enjoyed driving GM vehicles and would only buy items made in America. He was a proud American citizen with
an Irish heritage.
