James W. Gardner, age 90 passed away April 11, 2026, in Bradenton Florida following an accident. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the late Elmo and Lenore Gardner. James was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Buddy Gardner, and a sister Betty Chayer. he graduated from University of Miami with an MBA in Financing and worked in New York City Bank in the foreign account department. He enjoyed the outdoors, skiing water and snow, fishing, golfing, running, and even taught others to ski. James was very smart, hardworking and very detail orientated. James leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia K. Gardner; brother -in - law Robert Chayer; nephew Robert Chayer Jr. (Angela); great niece Reagan Chayer. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the care of Skyway Memorial Funeral Home.
