Mr. James Lewis Waters Jr.'s Obituary
On June 3 ,2018 Another soul James L. Waters, Jr., winged it's way to heaven, leaving behind his loving wife Patsy (Pattie), three children, Michael and Eloise of Canton, GA, and Betty Padgett of Ballground, GA. A brother, Charlie Waters of Gwinnett , County, GA . Born May 21,1934 to James, Sr. and Lizzie May Waters in Gwinnett County, GA. He retired from General Motors in Atlanta, GA after 34years of service in 1990. Did some odd jobs in GA following his retirement. Relocated to the Bradenton area in 2003, he loved the climate and the beach. He was a veteran ,serving in the Navy from 1952-1956, he was very proud of his service to the country. He's also survived by six grand daughters and one grandson, all from NW GA. Many great grand children. He attended Happy Gospel Church of Bradenton, where he was an usher for many years . He loved Pastor Bill Bailey and his Family. He was cremated at Skyway Memorial Gardens. No services are planned. He loved to visit friends and family where he would share jokes and LAUGHTER! In lieu of flowers please make donations to Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton, FL where he spent his last 5 days on earth. A great and caring organization .
