Bailie, Jane's Obituary
Jane Bailie, 95, of Land O Lakes, FL is now present with her Lord and Savior on December 27, 2025 at Gulfside Hospice Care Center in New Port Richey, FL.
Jane was born December 12, 1930 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the daughter of Hugh and Mary (Dunn) Irvine. She married James Hamilton Bailie on January 24, 1952.
As a teenager growing up in Northern Ireland, she knitted socks and scarves for the soldiers during WW II. She was a survivor of the “Blitz" from April 7, 1941 – May 11, 1941.
After Jane moved to the US, she gained a career as a Christian School Teacher. She was a member of Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College. She was a talented seamstress and organist.
Surviving are her son, James Bailie (Janet) of Land O Lakes, FL; grandchildren, Jonathan James Bailie (Sarah Hope), Jeremy David Bailie (Samantha Kristen); great-grandchildren, Julianna, James, Joanna, Josiah, and Jesse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents; and three sisters.
Memorials: Hillsdale Baptist Church, 6201 Ehrlich Rd, Tampa, FL 33625.
Services will be private at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
