Jayne Louise Dean's Obituary
Jayne Louise Dean, 57, Palmetto, FL lost her three year courageous battle to cancer on July 13, 2014 at her home. Jayne was born on December 22,1956 in Detroit, MI to her parents William Paul Brown and Ellen Jane Bidwell.
She lived many places throughout her life including Wisconsin, New York, Michigan and Arizona but spent the majority of her time in Santa Barbara, California. In December of 2013 she and her husband moved into their dream home in Palmetto, Florida. Jayne was a spiritual person, interested in genealogy and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved pottery and enjoyed searching for unique items as well as collecting and selling antiques. Jayne was an incredible artist and loved gardening, reading and gathering shells from the beach. You rarely saw her without a book in her hand. Jayne was quirky, intelligent, creative, funny, witty and beautiful and will be missed beyond words.
She is survived by her loving husband Herbert Allen Dean, Jr of Palmetto, FL; her mother and step-father Ellen and Dennis Rasmussen and sister Nancy Paulinski (nephews Bryant and Mark) of Solvang, CA; three children: Jessica Rachel Demling (Keith) of Ronkonkoma, NY, Derik Justin Roy III (Thanh Le) of Huntington Beach, CA and Naomi Renee Roy of Reno, NV: four step-children: Tamara Katrina Herrick (Bryan) of Sedona, AZ, Clinton Adam Richards of Prescott, AZ, Danna Lee Mae Folkers (Bryan) of Urbandale, IA, and Brian Allen Dean of Glendale, CA. She has ten grandchildren whom she adored: Belle, Luke, Elijah, Magdalene, Liliana, Andrew, Brianna, Paul, Truman and Tate.
