Jeanette M Abel, 86, of Bradenton, FL, passed away July 21, 2026, at her residence in Bradenton.
Jeanette was born April 4, 1940, in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of George and Helen Mary (Morgan) Campbell. She married Donald James Abel on January 8, 1961, in Oradell, NJ.
Jeanette worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Manatee County School Board. She attended Our Lady of the Angels in Bradenton. She enjoyed line Dancing and loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Diane Flang (Bobby) of Arcadia, FL, Susan Taylor (Corky) of Maggie Valley, NC; siblings, Bruce Campbell (Karen) of Chattanooga, TN, Bonnie Hendrickson (Bob) of Bradenton, FL, Elaine Busch (Danny) of Bloomington, NJ; nine grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald James Abel; son, Donnie Abel; siblings, George Campbell, Larry Campbell, Diane Raymond, Jimmy Campbell, and Mary Nicholls.
Graveside services will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
