Jim Scarberry's Obituary
James “Jim” Scarberry, 62, of Palmetto, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022. Born December of 1959, in St Pete, Florida, he was the son of Karl and Mary (Schneider) Scarberry. After graduating from High School, Jim enlisted in the Army and proudly served as a member of the 68th Armor. After his enlistment, Jim worked as a Manager at North American Substation. Together with his wife, Renee, he was a member of Risen Savior Lutheran. Jim spent his spare time enjoying wind therapy on his Harley and wetting a line at his favorite fishing spot.
He will be remembered and missed by his wife of 26 years, Renee (Bradley) Scarberry; his children, Tony (Jackie) Ripa, Timothy (Pammi) Smith, John (Samantha) Smith, Jaiden Scarberry, Mandy (Herbie) Hewitt, Brandi (Charles) Martin, Jackie Blades, Raine Hanvy, Niocca Scarberry, Jessica Sanquist and Kaelynn Scarberry; 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; his brothers, Robert Scarberry, Chris (Diane) Scarberry and Dennis (Mary) Scarberry and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Jim will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 1pm at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 14605 59th Avenue E, Bradenton FL 34211. Arrangements have been entrusted to Skyway Memorial Funeral Home. www.skywaymemorial.com.
