Ms. Joan K. Horne's Obituary
Joan K. Horne, age 79, of Ellenton slipped peacefully into rest on February 15th, 2017. Originally from Brooklyn, NY she came to Florida in 1959. Joan was a long-time member of Order of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society. She is predeceased by her husband, John L. Horne, Sr. Survivors include her sister Priscilla (Chester) Tozzi of New Jersey; adult children John L. Horne Jr (Marybeth) of Bradenton, FL, Patricia (Odell) Woodie of Charlottesville, VA and Lorraine Walter of Daytona Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and many friends.
Services will be at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday Feb 25th at 2:30 pm with a reception to follow at Manatee Masonic Lodge.
