Jody Lee Cole's Obituary
Jody Lee Cole, 57, of Parrish, Florida went home to be with Jesus and join his late father, brothers, and many loved ones on July 22, 2022. He was born in Wauchula, Florida on January 21, 1965, son of the late Dwight Cole and Linda Lanier Hendry. After growing up in Orlando from the age of 4, his huge heart and love for family led him to recently move to Parrish to be closer to them.
Jody’s love for the outdoors contributed to his life-long career in tree climbing and landscaping and was owner and operator of Cole Tree Service in Orlando.
Music was his passion, which led him to be a music worship leader in his family church. He loved to write songs, sing and play guitar surrounded by anyone who would listen. In addition, his creativity and inventions always entertained his children and friends.
Jody is survived by his five beloved children, Dustin (Courtney), Chynna, Jada, Adam, and Dylan; three granddaughters, Anna, Paisley, and Everleigh, with Hadlee expected in August; mother, Linda Lanier Hendry; Uncle Wendell Cole, Aunt Lura Poulin, nieces, nephews, cousins, and step-brothers and sister.
He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Dwight Cole; two brothers, Darryl Dwight and Ivan Duane; maternal grandparents, Albert and Rena Lanier; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Annie Mae Cole; step-dad Bruce (Buddy) Hendry.
