John Randolph Caine, Sr.'s Obituary
John R. Caine, Sr., 73, of Palmetto, Florida passed away June 2, 2016. John was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late: Samuel and Annabelle Porter Caine. He lived in Fredricksburg, VA for many years and moved to Palmetto 12 years ago. He worked as Maintenance Supervisor for the City of Alexandra, VA. Once he relocated to Florida, John was employed by MCAT as a bus driver. In his spare time, John enjoyed golfing, jazz, playing chess and traveling.
John is survived by his son, John R. Caine, Jr., of Laurel, MD, daughter, Renee Caine, of Bradenton, FL, brothers; Nathaniel Caine, of Washington, DC, Lawrence (Deidre) Caine, of Jacksonville, FL, sisters; Constance Caine, of Washington, DC, Annette Caine, of Washington, DC, grandchildren; Brandon Caine and Nicole Caine. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Joan Caine (2007) and his sister, LaFrance Caine.
The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's AME Church, 629 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. East, Bradenton, FL 34208 on Saturday, June 11, 2016. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at the church.
