John Joseph Nicora's Obituary
John Joseph Nicora, 84, passed away January 27, 2015. He was born February 27, 1930 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Augustino and Josephine (Bonnio) Nicora. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his first wife Jean; second wife Lois; sisters Delphine and Josephine.
He served our country in the US Army. John was a supervisor at Springfield Wire for 20 years. He moved to Manatee county 10 years ago from West Springfield, Massachusetts. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the American Legion, the Elks and the VFW. John enjoyed playing cards and sports.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Gus Nicora and his wife Antoinette of Venice, Florida and sister, Florence Dufall of Springfield, Massachusetts and his beloved cat, Tinker.
There will be a memorial mass Holy Cross Catholic Church on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 9:30am
