John, was a great friend and neighbor. We met him in late August 2013 as and his buddy Glen, rode by in a golf cart. Judy asked' are you looking for a place to rent, John said;
yeah, how did you know, Just had feeling, So I showed John the furnished apt, And
he loved it and we feel in love with this wonderful man, My daughter Marcy, was sick at the time,and would sit outside on the porch, John would come by and asked her every day, how she was doing and if she needed thing and if he could do any thing for her.
But that was John, "The thoughtful one". Always helping me to get a good deal on a condo or good used furniture, Ha
When i was leaving for a hip replacement August 25, 2014, John, asked if he could keep our cat ' SOCKS" while i had surgery .So he did, he loved that cat and that cat lovveed him. John would call us laughing telling us what Socks had done that day. We all had a bid laugh. I 'judy" didnt know how sick he was. I felt like my sweet kiitty gave John a lot of love and Socks still looks for him every day, sitting on this front waiting for the door to open, John was considering moving by to to Palmetto, So i told, John to do what he needed to do. John called back and told me that he had loved us as family and was not going any where, Told him if he changed his mind to let me know whatever he did was Okay.
John would call Don every afternoon after the coffee was ready to have a cup.Don and John was good buddies, Glen had passed away the month before and John took it very hard that was his best buddy. They whey both in the Marines together had a everlasting Bond. My only regret is that I was 8 hours late getting here from GA. and not
not getting to say goodbye to a wonderful person.
Love Don, Judy Marcy Camp
