Johnny H. Durrance, Sr., 79, of Palmetto went to be with the one he loved, Jesus Christ, on Feb. 4, 2013. Born in Crawfordville, FL and was a lifelong resident of Palmetto, FL. He was self-employed, a member of Samoset Church of God, and a 10 year veteran of the US Air Force and Korea. Predeceased by son, Bruce. He is survived by his wife; Joyce of Palmetto, sons; Johnny "Buddy" Durrance, Jr., Timmy Durrance, Jimmy Durrance, daughters; Diane Robinson, Wanda Durrance, 19 grandchildren, & 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sat., Feb. 9, 10-11 AM, service to follow, 11 AM, at Samoset Church of God. Arrangements by Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Bradenton, FL.
