Caixeiro, Jose Antonio's Obituary
José António Caixeiro, age 97, passed away March 11th, 2026 in
Bradenton, Florida. He was born in Portugal to César Augusto Caixeiro
and Maria da Glória. José has lived in the United States for over fifty years,
often times spending the Summers in Portugal and the Winters in Florida.
He loved and appreciated both countries, and he enjoyed traveling and
learning about different cultures and places. He was devoted to his family
and he was an anchor to everyone. He leaves his cherished memories to
his daughter Fernanda Baker (Jeffrey Baker); son Americo Caixeiro (Nancy
Caixeiro); sister Ilda; five grandchildren, Jason (Sarah); Mark, Nick, Ashley
(Craig), and Amanda (Patrick); great grandchildren Sofia, Claire and
Cameron. The family will receive family and friends at 6:00 pm Tuesday
March 17th, 2026 at Skyway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in
Palmetto, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm
Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Palmetto.
Interment will follow the services at Skyway Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
