Joseph "Joey" Michael Vitale's Obituary
Joseph "Joey" Michael Vitale, 29, lifelong resident of Manatee County, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2016. Joey was born in Bradenton, FL on June 4, 1987 to John and Gloria A. Craig Vitale. He grew up in a loving, supportive home and had a fairly typical childhood of a young Florida boy. Joey graduated from Bayshore High School in 2005 and then attended Manatee Technical College. Joey worked as assistant manager for his father in the family's liquor store, Oneco Rose Liquors. He enjoyed time with his parents, playing golf with his dad and hanging out with his friends. Joey's life here with us seems too short and he will forever be missed.
Joey is survived by his parents; John and Gloria Vitale, of Bradenton, grandmother, Ann Craig, aunts; Mary Kelly, Fran (Randy) Carpenter, Camille (Scott) Radde, Paula (Brian) Smith, uncles; Frank (Vickie) Vitale, Jim (Carol) Vitale, Tony (Debbie) Vitale, Neil (Rhonda) Vitale, Joey (Debbie) Vitale and numerous cousins. Joey was preceded in death by his brother, Nicholas, grandparents; Bob Craig and Anthony and Annette Vitale.
A Gathering to Celebrate Joey's Life will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Skyway Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, beginning at 10:00 am.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Skyway Memorial Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.skywaymemorial.com
