Joseph F. Yablonski Sr.'s Obituary
Joseph F. Yablonski, Sr., 88, passed away June 11, 2014. He was born January 29, 1926 in eastern Pennsylvania to the late Alex and Beatrice (Surdock) Yablonski. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Jan Yablonski and his sister Irene Ploch.
Mr. Yablonski served our country in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He took part in the Flying Fortress of B-17’s. Following the war, he spent his career working at a chemical manufacturing plant. He had resided in northeast Ohio, eastern Pennsylvania and Charlotte County, Florida before moving to Manatee County in 1995. He was a Catholic and loved to fish, camp, travel and hang out with his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Margaret; sons, Joseph Yablonski (Diane) and Richard Yablonski, both of Bradenton, Florida; grandchildren, Richard, Joe, Kristen and Sean; great-grandchildren, Autumn, April and Benjamin.
