Justino Arenas Santana Sr., age 67, passed away May 10, 2026, in Bradenton, Florida with his loving family by his side. He was born in San Lorenzo, Guerrero, Mexico to Isaiah Arenas and Lucina Santana. Justino was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Paula Arenas. Justino started working when he was nine years old. He farmed corn, green beans, and squash. His passion was construction. He first came to the Unites States of America Justino came to the United States in 1974. He later relocated to Florida permanently in 1979 to give his family a better life. Justino worked many jobs after relocating to Florida, including picking oranges, sod work, and heavy construction with a focus on bridge building. Through his hard work, he provided for his wife and ten children. He was an easy-going man which helped him in making friends easily. Justino also enjoyed nature and spent a lot of time lying in his hammock listening to the birds, enjoying the sunshine, and feeling the wind blowing. Justino was a member of the Iglesia de Dios 7th Day Church. Justino leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife Maria Aleman; four sons Jsee Arenas (Alma), Pedro Arenas (Rafaela), Ezequel Arenas (Naomi), and Justino Arenas Jr.; six daughters Nancy Arenas (Luis), Jannette Arenas (Bailey), Julies Zapf (Peter), Aimee Arenas, Lucina Santana, Leticia Santana; eight brothers; eight sisters; twenty five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 am, Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Salvation and Praise of the Living God of Bradenton, 1015 7th Street Court West, Bradenton, Florida 34205. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 Am at the church. Interment will follow at Skyway Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Palmetto, Florida. Justino Arenas will be remembered for his best qualities of generosity, hospitality, and kind loving charm. He always extended a hand to anyone who needed help. Above all, he loved his grandchildren. He was thankful to watch them grow and to make memories with them. He is survived by a large family in Florida and beyond, whom he inspired every day through his joyous and supportive nature. They will miss him dearly.
