Lots of good memories of Kim- We grew up in Bradenton Beach together from 3rd grade on. Spent many nights at her house with her wonderful Mom and Dad, She then moved to Key Royal. We had great times there. Especially trick or treating. We both had long blonde hair and the neighbors often mistook us for each other. We would go door to door trick or treating and they would say to me "your the girl who plays the lovely piano" and I would tell them "yes I was". We thought that was a riot!
We stayed friends through high school when Bo was born, then lost touch even though we both lived in Bradenton.
After my divorce I ran in to her she was looking for a roommate and I was looking for a home. We took up where we left off. Lived together for about a year and had a blast the whole time!
Again I lost touch with her, but ran into her mom who told me she now had a baby girl!
Not sure how long ago that was Kacie, but have looked for signs of your mom at our islander reunion and around Bradenton. I did not know her last name, so could never find her. I am so sad to hear she has passed.
She was always happy, easy going and FUN!. I'll never forget her laugh and her sense of humor. I feel lucky to have known her back in our young carefree days.
Always loved her Dad and Mom- and our girls Saturday Shopping trips. I am hoping there is a memorial, would love to see Kim's adult daughter and son.
I am so sorry for your loss.
