Larry "Guy" Simpson's Obituary
Larry “Guy” Simpson, 45, passed away December 5, 2014. He was born February 11, 1969 in Miami, Florida to the late Larry Edward and Mary Agnes (Hawk) Simpson.
Guy moved to Manatee County in 1977 from Labelle, Florida. He was a Baptist and loved motorcycles and woodworking. He was a master carpenter and worked at a local cabinet shop.
Left cherish his memory are his fiancé, Michelle Armstrong; his beloved daughter who was his absolute world, Hailey; Katie Harris; Aunt Mary Ann Colson; father, George Colson; sisters, Patricia Simpson Griffeth (Lonnie) and Wonda Phillips-Mealey (Brian); brother, Charles Colson (Jessica); grandparents, Clyde and Ola Colson; nieces, Patricia Phillips and Jordan Mealey; nephews, Michael Durrance, James R. Durrance, Johnny E. Durrance, Keith Mealey and Corbin Gregg; great-nieces and nephews, Nataleigh Durrance, Dylan and Devan Durrance, Hope Miller, Kimberlynn Phillips, Leelynn Mealey, Devien Colson and Neveah Colson; cousins, Stephanie and Marshall Colson plus many other cousins, aunts and uncles.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Skyway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow.
