Linda Diane Robb's Obituary
Linda Diane Robb, 72, passed away June 26th, 2014. She dealt with many health problems over several years. The last month, she was in Hospice care at home where she peacefully passed away Thursday morning. Linda was born October 19th, 1941 in Keokuk, Iowa to the late Leonard and Olive (Krapf) Altmaier. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Leonard Dwayne Altmaier; and her sister-in-law Karen Robb Hardester. She was a member of Evangel Baptist Church in Bradenton.
Linda at an early age trusted Christ as her Savior. She loved her LORD and enjoyed serving Him. She and Keith taught four and five year olds in Sunday School and Linda also played the piano for their churches back in Iowa and Missouri. She also served as a church secretary and helped with the Christian school in their church. Her concern was for others to know Jesus as their Savior and constantly prayed for her family that they would all know and love the Lord too.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband whom she married on November 23, 1968; daughter, Janet Cooper and her husband Paul and their children Haley and Paul (who were Linda’s grandchildren that she loved and enjoyed very much); son, David Robb and his wife Amanda; three sisters, Jeanne Jackson (Kenneth) of Nauvoo, Il; Karla Say (Paul) of Bradenton, Fl; Cheri Baynard (Jerry) of Wildomar, CA; nieces and nephews and many family and friends who loved her.
There will be a visitation on Monday, June 30th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Evangel Baptist Church, 3605 Lorraine Road, Bradenton, Florida. Funeral service will follow at 11:00. Interment will be on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
