Lysle Richard Kelley's Obituary
Lysle Richard Kelley, 85, passed away March 26, 2015. He was born May 25, 1929 in McDonald, Kansas to the late Lysle Reuben and Nellie Marie (Niswonger) Kelley. In addition to his parents, Lysle is preceded in death by his sister, Doneva; son-in-law, Everett; and grandson, Sidney.
Lysle served our country in the United States Navy and later earned his engineering degree from the Pacific State University in Los Angeles, California. He retired as an engineer with the US Government in 1979 and moved to Manatee County in 1980 from Fairfax, Virginia. Lysle was a “fixer of everything”. He also enjoyed working on computers and collected clocks and watches.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Jaxie; daughter, J. Laureen Gustin of Vernal, Utah; son, Richard Lyle Kelley and his wife, Heather of Triangle, Virginia; brother, Tarry Kelley and his wife Shirley of Vernal, Utah; grandchildren, Marisa, Rachel Logan and Tiana.
There will be a visitation Saturday, March 28th from 2:30 to 3:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, 3400 Cortez Road West, Bradenton, Florida. Funeral will begin at 3:00 PM. Entombment in Skyway Memorial Gardens.
