Mae B Pearcey's Obituary
Mae B. Pearcey, 96, of Tampa, FL, passed away July 17, 2024 at Advent Health Tampa.
Mae was born January 8, 1928, the daughter of Milford and Annie Leona (McAllister) Hill. She married Everette L. Pearcey in 1955.
Mae had served as a secretary for Sarasota Public Schools, retiring after 35 years of service. She will be remembered for one of her passions of baking pies, especially her, “Sweet Potato Pie”. Mae loved spending time with her family, creating special memories.
She is survived by her children Mark Pearcey (Deborah) of Land O Lakes, FL, Kent Pearcey (Paula) of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Lorene Gilmore of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren, Ernest, Jasmine, Donielle, Kendall, Kenya and four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members, caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Everette L. Pearcey.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Skyway Memorial Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 AM Thursday at the mausoleum. Burial will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
