Manoel F. DeBono Jr.'s Obituary
Manoel F. DeBono, Jr., 82, of Sun City Center, passed away April 7, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Celeste, and his children, Michele (Joe), Celeste and Michael; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Manny was born on March 27, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Amityville, New York. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Manny was known and loved by many people. He was the first to offer help to others and he always referred to friends as “my guys”. He was an avid golfer and ran a number of golf groups, including his special “Hi Rollers”. He was active in the Stained Glass Club, both as a participant and a teacher.
A mass of celebration of Manny’s life will be on April 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 702 Valley Forge Blvd, Sun City Center, Florida.
