Maria Eliza Bufarah Affonso's Obituary
Maria Eliza Bufarah Affonso, 92, of Bradenton, FL passed away on December 2, 2015 at Lakewood Ranch. Maria was born in Santa Cruz do Passa Quatro, Brazil on October 9, 1923 to the late; Wady Bufarah Brasil and Jamilie Jorge. Maria was a school teacher for 32 years, teaching Latin and Portuguese. She was always studying, reading, devoting time to her church and friends. She loved singing hymns and giving to others. Maria most recently attended Bayside Community Church and City Life Church.
Maria is survived by her daughters; Teresa (Roy) Witte, of Bradenton, FL, Maria Christina Bufarah Affonso, of Brazil, grandchild, Marcello Romeiro, brother, Pedro Bufarah Bieze. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Augusto Affonso, sister, Linda Bufarah Bieze, brothers; Salomao Bufarah Bieze and Antonio Bufarah Bieze.
