Ms. Marion Hanahen's Obituary
Marion Bidwell Dare Hanahen, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Oct. 5, 2017
Marion was born Jan. 19, 1928 in Warren, PA to the late Henry LeRoy and Louemma Belle Bidwell. After graduating high school in Newport, RI, she and her family settled in Auburn. She was employed as a nurse at Auburn Memorial Hospital and Mercy Rehabilitation Center until retiring to Florida in 1989. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed painting, swimming, reading and listening to music.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Mary) Dare of Auburn, John (Marcia) Dare of Throop and Michael (Jeanne) Hanahen of Bradenton, FL; son in law Michael Mancini; daughter in law Kelly Dare; grandsons Jeffrey (Lori) Mancini, Marc (Maira) Mancini, Nicholas (Anku) Mancini and Robert Dare; grand daughters Alicia (Joe) Wilson, Tracy (Dominick) Barbuto, Michelle (Brian) Hopkins, Courtney (Bill) Gilmore, Nica Dare, Brittney Dare, Bryanna Dare, Estephania Hanahen; and eleven great grandchildren.
Marion was predeceased by her parents; brothers Vernon and Lee Bidwell; husbands Robert Dare and Charles Hanahen; son Kenneth Dare; and daughter Catherine Mancini.
