Mary Virginia Campbell Nicholas' Obituary
Mary V. Campbell Nicholas, 63, of Bradenton, FL passed away July 31, 2016. Mary was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late; George Lawrence and Helen (nee Moran) Campbell. After graduating William Patterson University in NJ, with her degree in Education, Mary moved to Bradenton in 1974. Her love for learning and teaching children led her to pursue her Master’s Degree from Nova University. Mary‘s teaching career spanned 26 years. She taught at Prine Elementary, as well as St. Joseph Catholic School. She was an avid reader and also served as an adjunct professor. She made a profound impact on the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
Mary is survived by her brothers; Larry (Mary) Campbell, of Bradenton, FL, Bruce (Karen) Campbell, of Cleveland, TN, sisters; Jeanette (Don) Abel, of Bradenton, FL, Diane (Jack) Raymond, of Milford, NJ, Bonnie (Bob) Hendrickson, of Bradenton, FL, Elaine (Dan) Bush, of Bloomingdale, NJ, 9 nieces and 12 nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers; Georgie and Jimmy Campbell.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 5th, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Glass Chapel of Skyway Memorial Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 6, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2704 33rd Ave. West, Bradenton, FL.
