Mary Alyce moved from Madison, Florida to Manatee County in 1947. She grew up in Palmetto/Oneco and was a 1957 graduate of Manatee High School. She was actively involved in youth sports with her sons and daughter (namely baseball and football). Her greatest passion was listening to the love of her life, Harold E. Floyd, play the guitar and sing to her. She enjoyed watching her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren play baseball/softball and was always seen at the ballpark with a huge smile on her face. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org). A private Celebration of Life will be held at Skyway Memorial where she will be laid to rest alongside Harold.
