Mary Burns Gordon's Obituary
Mary Burns Gordon, 78, passed away September 18, 2014 in Tallahassee, Florida. She was born May 23, 1936 in Cairo, Georgia to the late Walter and Annie Burns. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John; brothers, Wayne and Richard; and her nephew, Michael.
She had moved to Manatee County many years ago from Sabastion, Florida before moving to Monticello, Florida in 2008. She enjoyed sewing and art work.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Diana Hayes and her significant other, Judy Pickle of Monticello, Florida; brother, Leroy Burns of Palmetto, Florida; sisters, Sarah Bently of Palmetto and Bonnie Syszko and her husband Jim of Englewood, Florida; and nieces, Melody and Kathy.
Interment will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens, Monday, September 29, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Contributions in Mary’s honor may be made to the Humane Society at www.humanemanatee.org. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.skywaymemorial.com.
