Mary Ann Romanski's Obituary
Mary Ann Romanski, age 68, passed peacefully on Wednesday July 8, 2026, in Bradenton, Florida.
Mary Ann was born in Peabody, Massachusetts to John and Carol (Rutkowski) Romanski. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Kathryn Romanski. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Alexandra Golden and her son-in-law Kyle; her brother Bob Romanski and sister-in-law Kimberly; her brother John Romanski and sister-in-law Bonnie; her niece Rachel Romanski; and many, many others whose lives she touched throughout her life.
Mary Ann wore many hats over the years. She spent time working in the event industry at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, taught children at the Ryan School in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and most recently worked with people and patients she loved at Center for Sight in Sarasota, Florida. Mary Ann raised her daughter Alexandra as a single mother and was never afraid of reinventing herself to meet a new challenge. She loved theater, travel, shopping and live music (especially when accompanied by her daughter). She was at her happiest in North Conway, New Hampshire. Above all else, Mary Ann was a free spirit, a loving mother, and a loyal friend.
Mary Ann’s time on earth was cut far too short, but she will leave a lasting impression on all those who were lucky enough to know her and love her.
Arrangements are under the care of Skyway Memorial Funeral Home in Palmetto, Florida. No services are currently scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, Mary Ann’s loved ones request that donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, a cause she cared passionately about.
