Nancy A Spicer's Obituary
Nancy A. (Edenborg) Spicer of Fort Myers, Florida and Roslindale, passed away on August 6, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Albert W. Spicer Jr., she is survived by her children, Albert and his wife Kathleen of Carver, MA and Mark of Sarasota, FL. Nancy was the cherished grandmother to 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Alison, Jared, Kaitlin, Colleen and Keara and 2 great-grandchildren, Callie and Blake. Dear sister of the late Edwin Edenborg, Joanne Trask of Punta Gorda, FL and Irene Appleton of Dunstable, MA.
Nancy was a graduate of Roslindale High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and a class officer. She worked as an insurance executive for multiple insurance agencies during her career.
Nancy was an avid knitter and enjoyed sewing, ceramics and cooking for family and friends. She loved to travel, particularly to Hawaii, which she visited on multiple occasions. Nancy spent her retirement watching sunsets on Marco Island before moving to Fort Myers.
Funeral services will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery and will be private. Contributions in Nancy’s memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation to:
