Ed Bartel
I got to know Priscilla a few years ago as my bus aide for the Manatee County school district. We shared many laughs and sorrows about dogs, life, family, spouses and the students we were transporting. Her tough exterior housed a softer soul within. After I left the district for greener pastures, I ran into Priscilla years later at our church, Harbor Community. She shared some of her struggles with her back, and I was glad to see her at church. As a Chaplain, I visited her several times during her hospital and rehab stays. I was glad she received my prayers and concerns for the deepest needs of the soul.
