Raymond Lee Bartels Sr's Obituary
Raymond “Ray” Bartels Sr. passed away December 22, 2021 at the age of 78, surrounded by his wife, children, and several grandchildren.
Ray was born in Bradenton, FL to Luther and Arlene Bartels. He was a graduate of Manatee High and worked many years as a Golf Superintendent. Ray loved spending time with his family and making others laugh. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and dining out with friends and family.
Ray is survived by his wife, Sherry; three daughters, Kim, Brandy, Tiffany; two sons, Randy and Ray Jr.; 8 grandchildren; brother, Jimmy; nephew, Kevin; and niece, Kelly. He was predeceased by his parents Luther and Arlene, as well as his granddaughter, Addison.
As per Ray’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. His final resting place will be Skyway Memorial.
