Richard Charles Keibler's Obituary
Richard Charles Keibler, 80, of Parrish, FL, passed away October 24, 2024 at HCA Florida South Shore Hospital, Sun City Center, FL.
Richard was born November 17, 1943 in New Kensington, PA, the son of Alvin and Virginia (Keibler) London. He married Theresa Lattanzio and together they raised their daughter, Dawn.
Surviving are his wife Theresa: daughter, Dawn Daly (Thomas) of Apollo Beach, FL; sister, Robyn Simon (Charles) of Altoona, PA; and grandson, Justin Moore.
Richard was the most wonderful, patient and caring person you could ever meet, but most importantly the most loving husband, father and grandfather. He grew up in New Kensington, PA. Throughout the years, he and his wife and daughter lived in Indiana, Texas and then made their final home in Florida.
He shared his love for traveling with his wife and daughter, exploring many exotic and exciting places and creating many happy memories. He was a very talented and gifted artist, creating many paintings and murals for family and clients. He was also known to be a very good dancer. Music was also one of his loves and he had developed the ability to play piano by ear.
Before his airline career, he worked at J.C. Penny’s as a window dresser and merchandiser.
Richard had retired from the airline industry, serving as a customer service agent for Mohawk Airlines, Lake Central Airlines, Allegheny Airlines, and US Airways. He was fondly known to his co-workers as “the cookie man”.
Funeral services will be private.
Burial will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
