Richard Stripling
July 15, 1939 - August 1, 2021
Sarasota, Florida - Richard Stripling gained his angel wings on August 1, 2021. Richard was born and raised in Sarasota and graduated Sarasota High School. He married the love of his life Iris Creech on February 16th 1962. Together they had 3 wonderful children: Alan (Wendy) born July 1st 1963, Sheleen (Mike)Olson born August 29 1965, and Elana (Joe) Teeters born August 29th 1973. Their Grandson Cody Stripling was born on April 16th 1993. Richard was a Master Electrician and co owner of Brethauer Electric. He also built and ran 2 car washes. Later in life he was partial owner and operator of another car wash. And he had several other business ventures, and always kept busy. Richard loved to be outdoors, in his younger years he used to fly gyrocopters; for several years he and Iris rode motorcycles; and he loved to go fishing; but his greatest joy was making his family and friends smile. His parents were Clarence and Lula Stripling and sister Elaine Raynor all whom preceded him in death. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday the 28th of September at 11:00 at Elwood Park Baptist church 3516 45th St E, Bradenton, FL 34208.
