Richard Lawrence Winchester's Obituary
Richard Lawrence Winchester, 70, of Palmetto, FL passed away on April 12, 2021 after fighting a rare disease PSP. Rich was born in Hartford Connecticut on November1, 1950 to Grace and Raymond Winchester. After high school Rich joined the Army and then served as a Postal worker for most of his life. Rich loved life; he loved to socialize and play jokes on people. He was an animal lover and they loved him back. Rich wanted to make everyone happy. His greatest hobby was fishing and some would say he loved it as much as his wife and family. Rich is survived by loving wife of 45 years, Linda; daughter Terri Ashby and her husband Butch of Palmetto; grandson Blake and his Fiancée Lauren of Tennessee; five great grandboys; sister Murial and her husband Bob; brothers: Ray and his wife Kathy and Rob and his wife Sue; and a host of other family and friends. Rich was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara. A visitation will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens on Thursday April 15, 2021 from 5-7pm and private service next day.
