Ruby Ann Sumner's Obituary
Ruby Ann Sumner, 81, of Ellenton, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on November 11, 2014. She was born on October 8, 1933 in Moultrie, Georgia. She was a graduate of Manatee High School and worked locally in the banking field until retirement. Ruby Ann loved spending time with her family and she will be missed by many. She is survived by her sister, Ann Renninger; nieces, Sandra McIver and Susan (Thomas) Richard; her nephews, Carl Renninger and Gary (Carrie) Renninger; great-nephews, Justin (Stephanie) Cooksey and Garret Richard and great-nieces Heather (Patrick) Quinby, Allee Rogers, Chelsea Braybrook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ruby Sumner.
Visitation and Services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Skyway Memorial Gardens, 5200 US Highway 19 N., Palmetto, Florida 34221. Visitation will be from 10:30am to 11:00am and services at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the installation of a commemorative garden bench in Ruby Ann’s memory at Bradenton Oaks Assisted Living Facility.
