Savannah Christine Armstrong's Obituary
Savannah Armstrong, beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend, passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 18. She was born on May 26, 2008, and throughout her life brought warmth, kindness, and joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Savannah was a bright light in the world, loved deeply by her family and cherished by countless friends. She had an incredibly big heart and a remarkable way of making others feel seen, valued, and loved. Having recently graduated, Savannah was looking forward to an exciting future filled with hopes, dreams, and endless possibilities. Though her time on earth was far too short, the love she shared and the lives she touched will remain forever.
To her mother, Amanda Childress, Savannah was more than a daughter—she was her favorite person and her best friend. To her father, Curtis Armstrong, Savannah was his pride and joy and his baby girl.
Savannah is lovingly remembered by her mother, Amanda Childress; her father, Curtis Armstrong; her brothers, Henry Ross and Cash Armstrong; her grandparents, David and Kaye Childress, Marty and Heather Duytschaver, and Alan and Marilza Armstrong; her aunts and uncles, Amber and Paul Johnson, Alan Childress, Jennifer and Jason Moore, Ashley and Kirk Lusby, and Ludmila Valencia; as well as many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Though words cannot fully express the sorrow of her passing, Savannah's beautiful spirit, compassionate heart, and radiant smile will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held this Saturday, July 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bayside Community Church, North River Campus (9505 Moccasin Wallow Rd). The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Worthington (4815 17th St E, Ellenton) immediately following the service. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the remarkable young woman whose light will never be forgotten.
