Ms. Sheena L. Prattis' Obituary
PRATTIS, Sheena L, 47, of St. Petersburg passed away on August 8th, 2016 at Bay Pines VA Medical Center. Born June 1st, 1969 in Easton, MD to parents Willie L. Brown Jr. and Connie L. Prattis (Shuler) who were both from Federalsburg, MD, she moved to Florida at age 8 with her mother. After graduating high school in 1987 she immediately joined the US Army in the fall of 1987. Being a soldier and a dedicated mother was her life. Sheena spent 4 years in Germany, learning the language as she lived their lifestyle.
She leaves behind in mourning her son Christopher D. Fields and his father Darren D. Fields, both of St. Petersburg; mother Connie L. Prattis Shuler and step father Roosevelt L. Shuler of Sarasota, FL along with many step brothers and sisters and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
All ceremonies and services will be held at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto, FL. Visitation on Friday 8/19 from 6:00pm-8:30pm. Funeral service on Saturday 8/20 at 11:00am. Interment with full military honors will follow.
